Caravan Studios’ hosted a Generate+Design session at the Indianapolis public library, where participants focused on designing solutions to help people find local food resources. After the Select phase, during which the greater public provided input on the participants' designs, one group of session participants took what they learned and designed and developed a tremendous mobile app for their community: Community Compass. Sarah Washburn from the Caravan Studios team chatted with Kate Howe of Indy Hunger about what it took for a nonprofit to design a mobile app.
